Mit „Timestamps“ hat der deutsche Gitarrist HANS PLATZ den "Überraschungshit" des Jahres 2013 gelandet. Vier Jahre lang hat der Musiker an seinem ersten Soloalbum geschrieben und in seinem Heimstudio produziert. Herausgekommen ist dabei ein Album, das vor starken Kompositionen, wieselflinken Arpeggios und amtlichen Rocklicks nur so strotzt.

GuitarMania interview with STEVE HACKETT on the occasion of the release of his new live album Genesis Revisited: Live at Hammersmith. In September 2013, Hackett was awarded the “Live Event Award” at the Progressive Music Awards Gala by the renowned British Prog Magazine with the words: “Hackett's re-working of classic Genesis tracks has been met with enormous appreciation by Genesis fans both new and old.” The interview was recorded on the occasion of Steve's concert at the WUK in Vienna, Austria, on 21 April 2013. We talked with Steve about his beginnings, the "Genesis Revisited 2013 World Tour", the tapping technique, and his equipment (the interview is the long version of a video interview GuitarMania productions previously published on Stormbringer.at, and contains additional footage shot for GuitarMania E-zine).
